Hello! My name is Brittany, the founder of Quinnwood Services.

With over 15 years of experience in the accounting field, I earned my BSBA with a concentration in accounting, followed by an MBA shortly after. This educational background has equipped me to view business from a broader perspective, beyond just the accounting tasks at hand.

Early in my career, I quickly recognized the crucial role accounting plays in a business’s success. My initial focus was on tax and audit, which provided me with insights into a diverse range of businesses, primarily small enterprises but also large multi-million-dollar companies. It was during this time that I discovered my preference for working with construction and real estate clients. I then took a role as a Development Accountant at a nonprofit, where I gained valuable experience in progress billing, job cost accounting, project pro forma, and management/ reporting back to funding sources. Subsequently, I moved to a smaller for-profit company, where I progressed to the role of Assistant Controller. In this position, I acquired invaluable insights into the intricacies of running a business. I will always cherish the profound and meaningful lessons I learned during my time there.

As difficult as it was to move on from the Asst Controller position, I realized I was up for another pivot in my career path and returning to a traditional office after Covid didn't feel like the right direction for me. I ventured out on my own, and my client base has been rapidly expanding. I consistently receive positive feedback regarding the flexibility of my schedule and quality of my work. I now serve a diverse array of small to medium- sized businesses and I'm always eager to grow and welcome clients that align with my mission.
